Group Lessons

What age groups do you offer group classes for?

We offer group classes for children aged 4 and up. Students are placed in age-appropriate groups to ensure the best learning experience and social dynamic for your child.

How many students are in each group?

Our groups are kept small — typically 4 to 8 students — so every child receives meaningful attention while still benefiting from the energy and interaction of group learning.

How long is each group lesson?

Group lessons are typically 45 to 60 minutes depending on the class type and age group. Younger children attend shorter sessions designed to match their attention span.

What happens if my child misses a group lesson?

We recommend attending all scheduled sessions for the best progress. Our teachers provide catch-up materials when possible, though make-up lessons are not guaranteed for group classes.

How do I enroll my child in a group class?

You can sign up through our website or get in touch with us directly. We recommend starting with a trial lesson so your child can experience the class before committing.

Individual Lessons

How are individual lessons different from group lessons?

Individual lessons are tailored entirely to your child's pace, goals, and learning style. With one-on-one attention from the teacher, progress is faster and the experience is highly personalised.

Can I choose a specific teacher for my child?

Yes! You can browse our teacher profiles and request a specific teacher based on your preference and their availability. We'll do our best to accommodate your choice.

What is the cancellation policy for individual lessons?

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may be counted as a completed lesson depending on the circumstances.

How often should my child attend individual lessons?

We recommend 1 to 2 lessons per week for consistent progress. Frequency can be adjusted at any time based on your child's schedule and learning goals.

What equipment does my child need for online lessons?

A computer or tablet with a stable internet connection, a working camera, and a microphone are all that's needed. Any additional materials will be specified by the teacher ahead of lessons.

Russian Language Lessons

Does my child need to speak Russian to join?

Not at all! We welcome children of all levels — from complete beginners with no prior exposure, to native speakers looking to develop reading and writing skills.

How do you assess my child's current Russian level?

We offer a free initial assessment session to determine the most suitable class level for your child. This helps us place them in the right group or design an individual plan.

Do you offer classes for heritage Russian-speaking children?

Yes — this is one of our specialities. We have programmes specifically designed for bilingual children who speak Russian at home but need support with literacy and formal language skills.

Are lessons conducted fully in Russian?

Yes, lessons are conducted in Russian to maximise immersion. For younger or beginner students, teachers may provide brief support in English to help with understanding when needed.

What curriculum do you follow for Russian language lessons?

Our teachers follow a structured curriculum aligned with Russian educational standards, thoughtfully adapted for children growing up abroad. We balance language development with cultural connection.
